Les Corts is the district that I have been most excited about since arriving to Barcelona. The reason for this is because of Camp Nou. Camp Nou is the FC Barcelona soccer stadium or Futbol in European terms. My main reason for wanting to study abroad was to see this stadium and hopefully attend a game. Unfortunately , I was not able to make it to a game but I was able to tour the stadium which did not disappoint. Besides the stadium, everything else about the district was rather disappointing. I ended up not spending much time in the rest of the area because a lot of it was very boring compared to what I have seen elsewhere. From what I was able to see through the tour is that soccer is a huge part of the culture here in Barcelona and everywhere in Europe. Beyond that, I was still not able to talk to anyone due to the language barrier. I had no luck in finding the demographic information in this district but this is the most visited neighborhood in all of Barcelona because of Camp Nou. Lastly, the grocery prices that I found were the same as the other two districts, meats being around three euro and wine being around six euro.
